I didnt realize the line was 17.5. This is the ABC game of the week and supposed to be a benchmark win for Boise.

This is a win that might get them into the MNC and they are a 17.5 pt favorite.

I was surprised it was that high, too. I guess BSU is way better than TCU if they do win by 20

What is really sad is that on Nov. 1st, I'm curious to see if #2 Ohio State will have more wins over Top 25 teams then Boise State.

I more meant it's stupid not to count after November 1st. Wisconsin will be ranked when we play them, so we're equal. But we play Penn State, Iowa, and Michigan after November 1st. Not to mention ranking at time of game is completely stupid, too.

lol @ counting Virginia Tech

dear god man.

Fwiw, Ohio State's schedule comprises of 6 ranked teams currently. I have no idea what you're babbling about.

I'm not comparing the two schools' schedules other then to say the both suck for the first 3 months of the football season. And when they are the #2 & #3 teams in the country it really sucks for the fans.

You would be equal if they beat Ore. State and you beat Wisconsin (not sure where the game is @, but Boise probably has it easier) . And as far rankings on Nov. 1st, who knows if Miami or Wisconsin will still be ranked.

Boise NEEDS to beat the crap out of OSU to get the voters on their side again. VT blows, and the voters know it. UNR will be a better game than VT was. Boise needs to win by 30+, and everybody knows it...even Vegas.

I really can't see B.S. playing for a NC S.o.S. is just weak.

this shite needs to stop

there is no fricking way Boise makes the BCSNCG.

They were unlikely to if VT was as advertised.

VT losing to James Madison destroyed their only sliver of hope.

Any 1 loss Big 10, SEC, Big 12, or Pac 10 team will have a higher computer score than they will. It's quite possible that a 2 loss SEC team will have a higher computer score. A 1 loss Big East team might as well.

As long as there are 7 teams with a higher computer score, there is virtually no way they can make the BCSNCG.

I said =.

I think it's very likely that Miami and Wisky > OSU and VT, too, but it is too early to judge.

That wasn't me, but in any case, so it's 5 teams. Still more than double the amount Boise has.
