Hard to tell for sure, but not only was it tipped, but if it wasn't tipped, I don't think he makes it. Ball looked like it was hooking left similar to his miss against Tampa last year.

hard to say if it goes in or not if not blocked. I thought he missed the first FG and then it managed to find it's way right through the uprights. It's hard to tell two yards away from the point of the kick.

the wind was crazy, so no telling which way the ball would've gone once it got up in the air, but it definitely looked like it was going left if not for the partial block...

... but then again, it may have gotten in by bouncing off of the upright.

The ball had traveled about 3 feet when it got tipped, but you could tell he was going to miss it. Get real you moron.

the field goal was partially blocked into the uprights. he misses if the ball goes untouched. god is obviously a huge saints fan now

Jesus, rantard...settle it down. From my perspective, it was a miss. Other posters in this thread and otherwise agree with that assessment. That assessment could be wrong, but your response definitely was.

The trajectory on his kicks always has a slight arc on it - so the directness and the rotation looked funny after it grazed that guy's glove.... I didn't think for even a moment that it was going to end up wide (before or after it got that little rub). I was more concerned with it taking a nosedive and falling short.

Everyone can take a look and decide for themselves.

That was going to be so wide left it was going to be sickening.

I've now looked at it about ten times out of curiosity and I'll be damned if it hasn't gone through the uprights everytime.

P.S. No way anybody can tell he was going to hook it wide if it hadn't been tipped. That's just silly.

It sure looks that way but man he would have really missed it horribly. Is that even possible that he could have been that far off?

Are we sure we're just not seeing it wrong or something?

The two he missed in the Vikings game were pretty bad misses (both wide left as I recall). I have watched it countless times and absent a hurricane gust coming in, that ball was going miss the net behind the goalpost and go in the stands if it had not been tipped.

hard to tell with 100% certainty. Sometimes kickers are able to put these hooks and curves in their kicks. Just bc it started left doesn't mean he didn't put a hook on it.

The correct answer was obviously hartley knew it was going to be tipped so he put a little extra english on it.

I like how the announcer's said it wasn't tipped, even after the replay, something like it was just a poor kick. You could tell the rotation of the ball completely changed. They need a better tv in the announcer's booth.
