New York Jets
-unsteady, overly conservative offense
-outstanding defense
-wonderful secondary led by the best CB in the NFL
-biggest question mark is an inconsistent and unproven 2nd-year starting QB
-talented WRs
-great run-blocking offensive line
-hurt by suspect playcalling, OC tries to coddle QB by micromanaging each snap (admittedly, did a much better job this week than last)

I would agree with this for the most part.

Only thing is, their two coaches are such polar opposites, its amazing.

It's pretty funny, because there aren't many points there that are disputable.

I still think that LSU and the Cowboys are a slightly better comparison though.

After seeing all of these points laid out, I think Jets/LSU is better.

I used to think Cowboys were the NFL's LSU, but the list of similarities isn't this comprehensive. They just have the coach with the exact same personality thing in common.

I would say 2010 Cowboys = 2009 Tigers... their offense is poor and the defense shows glimpses of something good.

and 2010 Jets = 2010 Tigers

Thats the only one that a decent opposing case could be made against.

You might want to pick another team unless you are making Mark Sanchez into Jordan Jefferson.

only difference is that the tigers will likely underachieve while the jets will probably overachieve.

Sorry, but when's the last time JJ threw 3 TD passes against a Belichick defense?

Jesus Christ. Im saying they're comparable with respect to who they play against idiot. No one is saying that JJ is as good as sanchez.

How do you get this:
quote:

Im saying they're comparable with respect to who they play against idiot.

From this?
quote:

And Sanchez hasn't been bad?

Then say what you mean, idiot!

Because this
quote:

Im saying they're comparable with respect to who they play against idiot.
is what the whole thread is about.

Well, it just sounds like you're bashing Sanchez. Which I agree with by the way.

I wasn't really bashing him so much as I was saying him and Jefferson are both consistently bad. Although they both played a little better this weekend.

JJ would have thrown for 5 TDs and rushed for 2 more against the Pats. LSU >>>>>> NE
