what are the chances we will ever see him throw it after coming in motion and taking the handoff from jefferson I say %40

I don't know about throwing it, but Crowton better come up with a different way to get Shepard the ball in the backfield because receiving it the way he is from Jefferson in the Pistol is easy to see coming.
MSU just had their corners and DEs on the opposite side of the field from where Shepard was lined up step up-field and it negated Shepard's ability to use space and make people miss.

I thought the same thing. get DP back and he will throw it to the TE in that situation a few times.
You run him then release the TE for a throwback. the thing is you have to disguise it to his non-throwing hand at certain times. this would be a $$$ play. Also, I thought about a throw back to JJ. He is fast and good in open space. I did see our first toss play to Blue. It looked great albeit against a worn out MSU team.

Maybe in the Florida game we will see Jefferson fake the handoff to Shep and pull up for a big pass over the top.

I'm sure they will have a run/pass option for Shepard as a trick play at some point.
But they would not show such a play until they need it.

The D is on Shep too fast after the exchange and JJ is always just standing there watching Shep get tackled (when it does not go for positive yards). So in my limited know how of football, I see the best shot is having Jefferson pull up and throw for a big play over the top while Shep is the decoy
