Let's see if I have this right.

Johnny Rodgers (1972 Heisman Winner) was convicted of armed robbery while playing fb at Nebraska.

O.J. Simpson (1968 Heisman winner)allegedly murders his ex wife and a friend. He is later convicted of robbery kidnapping and coercion for which he is now doing time.

Reggie Bush (2005 Heisman winner)accepts money from an agent and they take away his trophy.

Yeah I know he gave it up.

I guess its a good thing that Johnny and O J didnt have agents.

OJ and Rodgers situations had nothing to do with their college eligibility.

Reggie allegedly taking money had everything to do with his eligibility

Sure, that makes it OK. The larger issue is character and integrity which was heavily debated when rodgers won the Heisman

Rodgers was convicted of a gas station robbery while he was a student at the University of Nebraska in 1971. He is the only Heisman to be convicted of a Felony before receiving said award.

yeah, while enrolled. But shite like this happens.

I agree but players don't lose eligibility for committing crimes.

I didn't realize he was also ruled ineligible during Heisman year like Rodgers and OJ.
