Reading articles from AP and US Presswire (on ESPN) saying we "survived for the win" and I love this one "Had the Vikings approached anything close to their 2009 offensive production, they could have won Thursday night in a rout.
What about talking how good our D was instead of Farve being rusty. What if we caught all of those dropped balls and the touchdown drop. What if we made those field goals..............
Same old shite.

screw the mainstream media. A great team finds different ways to win, we did. we are 1-0 and they are 0-1...move on...that is all.

Its Farve man do you really expect anything else? Do you think the ratings were that high because of the Saints?

we dont need one bit of media glory. we proved that last year. it adds motivation and our team thrives off the naysayers.

What is really aggravating is that both ESPN and the NFL Network are more focused on the Favre angle than the Saints in their post-game stories.

Yeah, frick the media and all that they say.
It was a tough, nail-biter of a game between two great teams, both of which have as good a chance as anybody to win the Superbowl.
Both teams had some first-game rust, but, at times, both played like champions.
Fans of both teams should be proud of their defensive efforts. Both teams' Defense stepped up and played big-time ball.
I'm proud of the Saints' big win, and, I tip my hat to the Vikes.
I'm proud of BOTH teams in the way that they played hard, but NOT with any thoughts of malicious revenge for past injustice. For example, Favre was SO confident that the Saints would NOT play dirty that he left his chinstrap unbuttoned for most of the game during play.

Typical media. The Saints missed 2 field goals and had a dropped TD in the endzone. The Vikings are lucky the game wasn't a lop sided victory for the Saints. The Saints "D" played very well and Favre didn't complete a pass in the 3rd quarter, if I am not mistaken.
The Saints also out produced the Vikings offensively. Isn't that the big stat that people keep bringing up from last year? The Saints won, now Vikings fans and media need to get over it.
