I would like to have an NCAA official explain the play and the ruling. If what UNC did was legal, then more onsides kicks should be sucessful. Just kick the ball on the ground and have all the kicking team hit/tackle the other team and fall on the ball.

am i in the wrong here? i thought it was called onside kick... ive seen like 3-4 threads today with people saying "on sides kick"
i didnt want to correct him but it keeps happening so im wondering if im wrong about it?
