yes i understand everyone wants posts on the game and les GingTFO of BR but can someone please inform me on why PP changed his name from Johnson before he enrolled.. if by an act of glory from God he stays for a senior season IMO he will go down as the greatest player to wear purple n gold

I think he's now Patrick Patterson. How many times can announcers screw his name up?

I think Johnson was his dad or step dad's name who wasn't around. He changed it to his mom's last name who pretty much did everything for him.

I think for the longest time his parents were together but not married. Once they did get married, I think he changed it to honor his father as they were close.
At least that is what I think the story was when he changed it.

lol between peterson being called patterson and confusing kelvin with russell its gonna be a miserable season of commentating. and thanks amigo i just never really understood why..
