Here is a picture from a few days ago of the new grass field in Tiger Stadium. The grass looks very good to me. Much better than recent years.

Wow, that looks really good! We'll see how it looks after back to back home games though...that's the real test (with some for sure rain mixed in there)!

I'm sure we will. The lines there now were just for scrimmages.

I hope so. I really miss the block "LSU" endzones and the old orangey-gold color. That new fleurescent yellow with the gay geaux font sucks.

And I miss the gold sidelines all the way up to the 30 yard lines.

I'm glad they got away from that shite hybrid they used the past few years. They went with a grass with a proven track record. I forget the name of it buy my bro-in-law knows one of the turf management guys. He was telling me about it a few weeks ago.

It was painted at the 10 yard interval for the scrimmage. We still have 2+ weeks before our first home game. By that point the 5 yard lines will be painted along with the eye and endzones.

Looks like those people in the upper south EZ on the right side all said, "frick those chairbacks!"

It's Celebration Bermuda grass. The link in this thread takes you to a pretty good youtube video talking about it.
