Thats not entirely true. It depends on value. For instance, I picked Jermichael Finley after someone else grabbed Gates and I was still able to get Chris Cooley late in the draft so there was no doubt I was picking him up. Productive tight ends are few and far between so not only can you now play the best matchup but you prevent someone else from having a TE that can make an impact.
