I think he will be a great before he leaves and these quotes from his high school coach is all you look for in a player coming to play ball at LSU.
I think he will be a great before he leaves and these quotes from his high school coach is all you look for in a player coming to play ball at LSU.
quote:
"You don't get many like him, " Slidell football coach Artie Liuzza said. "He'll do whatever it takes to be the best he can be. You try to mold your team around kids like that." In his final two seasons, Williams caught 80 passes for 1,266 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also won back-to-back Class 5A state high jump titles, and he played a key reserve role in basketball. It wasn't just Williams' ability to make things happen that impressed Liuzza, but the passion with which he performed. He twice won the Iron Tiger Award for strength and speed, which lends to his work ethic. "He works as hard as he has to and never takes a play off, " said Slidell wide receivers coach Mike Wills, who became a father figure to Williams. "The older players used to get upset with him for going so hard in practice."

From the practice videos, he is physically very, very impressive. Looks a little raw as far as technique but give him some time and he'll be great

With his focus, humility and dedication, he should do well in life on & off the field. I wish him the best.

Too bad he'll never play until his senior year.

Wrong!!!!
It is like I have been saying. LSU's Receiver corps are the best in the country and it isn't even close. We probably have 3 or 4 guess that are not first string that are good enough to start almost anywhere in the country. It is like we have two sets of starters... great ones too!
Right now people think LSU's starting receivers are the best group in the country. I think they might be but man we have some studs right behind them.
