Wide receiver Chris Tolliver, linebacker Lamin Barrow, cornerback Morris Claiborne, safety Karnell Hatcher, fullback Brandon Worle and defensive back Daniel Graff missed Wednesday's practice. Wideout Russell Shepard returned after missing Tuesday.

Shepard was reportedly wearing a green jersey today. And Lonergan got a concussion on Saturday.

At least we know these guys are working extremely hard out there.

It's never good for guys to get hurt, but it will allow some other guys to get a few more reps than they normally would.

What's up with Worle? I thought the situation was perfect for him to come in and get a lot of pt, but I have heard absolutely nothing about him so far.

Shep is okay. Don't know how Lonergan is doing. Hatcher has been somewhat beat up throught fall practice which I would assume is hurting his chances as far as playingtime. I think Worle has been out for a little while as well. This is the first I had heard about Tolliver, Barrow, and Claiborne

You know what...these injuries, this year so far, last year and before that..all of the cramps and such. Is it sign of a lack of physical conditioning?...not in all cases I'm sure. But fellas, there is a difference in being in shape and being in shape to play football especially for the specialists. You old backs and receivers know what I'm talking about. I can remember an old ball coaches' cure for it too..."RUN HIS ARSE OFF"...

Which is why Tommy Moffitt said this was one of his most athletic and explosive teams. I think they set a school record for passing the conditioning test coming into fall camp. There not getting hurt because of conditioning. There getting hurt because it's been a damn physical fall practice. There called two-a-days for a reason.

I wouldn't go to nuts, I can't speak for everyone, but Lamin was at practice yesterday, he wasn't dressed out.

When we did interviews yesterday I talked to him after practice and he was walking around normal like everyone else.

Not to say he didn't have a hand or something that's hard to tell, but just because they're not at practice, it doesn't mean that they're out for any more length of time than just that day.

I'm sure Mr. Moffitt would say if they were not fit also....would'nt he?.... The veterans, they practice the conditioning test all summer...they know what it takes to make it...they're not in playing shape when they arrive at fall camp.
