8th pick: non-PPR, 10 team, re-draft, 6 pt TD's for everybody...

would I be crazy to pick Mathews or do you think he'd be available with my 13th pick in the 2nd round?
and if not Mathews then who at 8?
I'm thinking a Moss/Mathews combo would be good in the first two. Or maybe Brees and somebody else in the 2nd. Thoughts?

I would go Moss and then either Greene or Wayne/Austin.

with your 13th pick I'd lean more towards a top WR depending on who's there but if you're really high on Matthews, you could take him there
Although that would be the highest I've seen him taken

I'd be VERY tempted to take A. Johnson over both Gore and Turner if all three are available. What you think? AJ could be a steal at 8 overall.

At #8? What league do you play in?
Those are going to be picks 5-7 in about 99% of the leagues.

Absolutely. I'm taking him if I have the 5th pick. But, he won't be there at 8....sorry.

False, although I don't play in non PPR leagues
Most drafts a top QB is going to go in the first 7 picks which leaves at least one of those guys there at 8. If not, then you have a top QB, Moss, or Steven Jackson

I was able to get Mathews with pick 26 in the 2nd round and then got Brandon Marshall with pick 31(3) and Pierre Thomas with pick 54(4). I'm pretty happy with my first 4 picks:
