I am going to hurl if I haved to hear how great the Jets are one more time!!! It's only preseason and they've already been cannonized. Last year they scraped by off of good defense and a little luck.

Scraped by? They made it to the AFC Championship game, with a rookie QB, man. They are obviously going to be a favorite this year, and are receiving more press because they are on Hardknocks this year.

No matter how good they look on paper or how good they really are when it comes down to it Braylon Edwards will cut their hearts out with crucial drops. I hate Edwards!

they are on HBO, picked to win it all even though they haven't done a damn thing, got Revis island and lard arse Ryan running his mouth all the time, yeah, I guess I'd be sick of them too!

Yea I enjoy when the teams on Hardknocks end up doing well that season. Gives me an extra team to cheer for after watching all the players clown around for a month

I do think they'll contend, but agree with the OP. The media love for them is getting a bit ridiculous.

i'm gonna have to agree with your opponents statement.
the only reason they made it to the playoffs was because the 2 last games they played, the other team was resting their starters for the playoffs.....

I do not get why everyone is giving Rex Ryan so much props and attention for cussing a lot on hard knocks. IMO when you use that type of language it gives off an impression that you lack in vocabulary and intelligence.

8-8... what the Jets should have finished the year as. They had a great playoff run, but honestly, they were an 8-8 team last year(I don't buy that the Bengals would have beat them).
