Where? South Carolina?

God, what a miserable time to be sitting in a deer stand.

It is just as important as your bow when hunting early in the season. It puts out an odorless spray/mist/light fog that shields you from mosquitos. It is a must have. They guy that invented them could have easily sold just as many for $100 as he does at $20.

the chance of killing one in velvet would be the only thing to get me in the stand.

I have a strong desire to score a velvet buck as well.

It's one of the few products introduced in the last 10 years thats not a gimmick. If mosquitoes are a problem for you, problem solved.

Thermacell is the ticket, although they are far from odorless. But as you play the wind when you hunt it wont matter much. No way I go out there in October without mine. You can buy the fule canisters in a two pack at Academy. I always seem to have a vast surplus of the repellant pads but run out of fuel. Should probably switch them out more often. It is a great product.

Academy, Wal Mart, and just about every other store that sells anything having to do with the outdoors. IMO, it is THE most important product introduced in the last 10 years as far as hunting goes. I never get in the stand without mine.
