Village Restaurant downtown to move

I believe the thing I liked best was the charm of the downtown location. I know they are going for a larger seating capacity and everything on one level would be nice for the staff...but I will miss the charm of the old place...I sure hope they do a better job on the new place than they did on airline...just too crowded and institutionalized.

Same thing right here. It was just the intimacy of the whole joint. You didn't have 200 people clanging plates and being loud as can be.

Maybe not 200, but those tables are right on top of each other, and it is loud. But I agree with both of you, that I did like the intimate feel of the place, and that slanted floor. The place has character.
