You have 2nd pick in a 12 team league. Assuming C. Johnson goes first, does the Bret Favre saga sway your decision on taking Peterson #2?

I have him ranked #1 in all league/scoring formats, without Favre they will lean on him even more.

i agree, but do you think his scoring opportunities will decline with Jackson or Rosenfels at QB...in the end, I still think I take him #2 regardless of the QB situation, but it got me thinking a bit

we get 1 pt/25 yds rushing and 6 for a TD

Probably but yardage will make up for it, plus he now will play all downs.(sans Chester)

look at 2008 numbers Chester had 6 td's as compared to AP's 10....AP should get the yards and the TD's and the catches

just in FWIW:

quote:

NFL Network's Mike Mayock predicts that Adrian Peterson "could get 400 touches this year" if Brett Favre indeed retires.
Mayock attended Vikings camp Tuesday and interviewed Brad Childress. "I believe Adrian Peterson is going to get more touches than in any time during his career," said Mayock. "... They’re going to have to get conservative. We hate the term ‘manage the game.’ But that’s what Tarvaris Jackson's gonna have to do. I don't think Sidney Rice is gonna have 83 receptions."

Dude dont think so hard. The great thing about having one of the top 2 picks is, there is no stress involved. Start thinking about your 2nd round pick. Pick who he doesn't pick (CJ or AP).
