I believe he would have said that in the original post if that's what he wanted to say.

Doesn't sound too bad...

quote:

Eagles president Joe Banner said he was glad the team had gotten through the weekend without catastrophic injury. This was reassuring, because when Banner spoke, all we knew about Bell's injury was that he'd dropped to the ground exclaiming and clutching his left leg while running across the field with a catch. Then Bell had yelled "Bleep me!" as he hauled himself off the ground and onto the cart.

Banner said Bell's anguish was understandable.

"He was playing well and looking forward to a new start here," Banner said.

Later, Bell walked briskly without a limp, his left leg in a pressure stocking, as he headed for his red Chrysler 300.

Bad way for a day to end, though. Especially when it started like this...

quote:

Bell ring of the day

Mike Bell threw a shoulder into Trent Cole that planted the Pro Bowl defensive end on his backside -- a rarity for anyone, let alone a running back. Cole had raced around the edge with Michael Vick in his sights before having his clock cleaned by Bell.

A day after DeSean Jackson was carted off the field at Eagles training camp, cornerback Asante Samuel and running back Mike Bell had to be taken off the field via cart.

The team said both suffered hamstring strains.

Bell left the locker room with his entire leg wrapped. Asked for an update on the injury, "He said, 'I'm alright.'"

During 7-on-7 drills, Bell caught a pass from quarterback Kevin Kolb out on the flat and turned up field as he ran away from linebacker Keenan Clayton. As he accelerated, he let out a yell and immediately grabbed the back of his thigh.

Bell fell to the ground on the sidelines where he was treated by the Eagles training staff. As he got into the cart he yelled a few words not printable for the Internet.

I appreciate what he contributed last year but there was obviously some issues. He was the only RFA in the NFL signed away. The collusion looks so obvious that I'd bet the front office put out the word that he was available. That they could have had him back and chose not to speaks a ton.

I miss this guy more. I think we'll be fine positionally but he was a great locker room guy and asset to the community.

Knowshon Moreno slight hamstring tear. Someone here that was touting him as the next great NFL running back? Was pimping so far as to say how big of a mistake the Saints were making to not take him. Own up, I don't feel like searching.
