Did you know that the now defunct SWC in which Texas and Arkansas were charter members of, started back in 1914 whereas the SEC started off in the 1930's? Did you know that LSU and Ole Miss were invited to join when the conference first began to organize? I now know why Texas and OU are big rivals. Oklahoma and Okie State were charter members of the old SWC. That conference really fizzled out. It seems that any conference that invites a school from Texas, also invites doom? Remember the old Big Eight conference and the day after Thanksgiving was the Oklahoma vs Nebraska game? I pray to God that the SEC will stay as is. I don't ever want to see Texas or A&M in the SEC. Inviting one or both will be the beginning of the end for the SEC.

the best football in the country is played form Florida to Texas,
just so happens that the SEC composes of 90% of that

the VERY best outcome for College football would be LSU ARKY, Miss St. Ole Miss joining Texas,, Texas A&M Oklahoma, OSU,, etc

and have the SEC AND another STRONG Conference

not saying it would ever happen, but college football is better serve with more than one dominate conference

Just keep the SEC as it is now. We're big enough already and we don't need to add anymore teams. Even though I don't mind Florida being our perm from the east, I wish that it was Georgia for one reason. The NFL games between the Saints and Falcons is always big. I do like having Florida though.
