Eagle Rare bourbon Awesome

This is one of the smoothest bourbons I have had in a long time. And at $25 a bottle it will become a regular at the house and camp and maybe the office.

Anyone else try this?

I very much like that bourbon. Friend turned me onto it a few years ago.

No familiar with this. Maker's is one of my favorite whiskeys. I'm new to bourbons.

Makers 46

Looks like they start with matured makers, add some searing to the barrel and let it go a few more months.

I love the Eagle Rare. Was looking for something to get my dad for Father's Day a few years back. Wanted to get him some whiskey and wanted to try something different.

I actually googled "whiskey awards" or something similar, and this one won a few different years, beating out some pretty nice ones. So I gave it a try and buy it now.

I just googled some stuff but want yalls opinion... What is the difference between bourbon and whiskey? I always thought they were the same thing, just distilled with water from a certain type of limestone

Bourbon Whiskey is 51% corn. Straight Whiskey is 51% of whatever the main grain that was used.
