After 3 years of watching Crowton groom the QB's, I think most would admit Jimbo was much better at getting guys ready to play. So I am curious to find out if anyone thinks that Jimbo would have developed these guys well enough to have made a difference in our records each of the last 2 years?

My personal opinion is you wouldn't have seen near as many pick 6's from JL in 2008. Not as many throws to the middle of the field and a lot more bubble screens.

As for JJ, i think physically he is tailor made for a jimbo style offense. He's tall enough to be a true pro style qb and has a good enough arm. Also quick enough to get a few yards if he has to tuck and run.

That's my opinion. intersted to hear others thoughts

How good would they be if we morphed them into one person, and force fed them nothing but protein, steriods, and cooooocaiiiiiiiiiiiiinee.

JL would be better. JJ would be #2.

Jimbo would not have put JL in the bad positions with suspect play calling and schemes

What takes 4 years for Crowton, Jimbo could do in 3. Both suck.

Jimbo was not a good developer of QB's. That is a fallacy.

With Jimbo we don't win it all in 2007. Want proof, look at 2006

We won 13 games and a national title against the #1 team in the country in 2003.

You don't know dick about what would or wouldn't have happened in 2007 with Jimbo.

Booty, Davey, Mauck, Russell, Flynn.

Every single one of these Qb's was developed by Jimbo and spent at least some time in the NFL. I'd say that's a pretty good track record.

Which one of those guys developed more quickly than Lee or Jefferson?

If Jimbo was here all we would do is hand the ball off 90% of the time. Way to conservative for me.
