Got the e-mail from the ticket office just a few minutes ago. Said ALL orders were at least partially filled. Good for those of us who requested, but does that mean interest is THAT down this year?

Only means people with high priority point ranking didn't request as many. If orders were partially filled, that means demand exceeded supply.

I'd say economy has more to do with it.

Maybe but it's not certain. When I lived in Louisiana and requested road game tickets, I think I always got at least some tickets to every game I asked for, even though I am not really high on the priority points list. In 2008, at a time when you would assume interest was at its highest, I got tickets to the Florida game.

That said, the ticket office probably is not publicizing the actual number of requests, so it's hard to say whether they were up to normal levels. You would think with attractive road games at Florida and Auburn, plus the game with North Carolina (which I assume would be treated like a road game, but with more tickets available), that the quality of the road games would not be the issue if requests were, in fact, down. Next year, with Ole Miss, Alabama, West Virginia and Tennessee as road games, I would assume that the quality of those games would increase interest, but that might be offset by economic issues or a decrease in overall interest if the team is not performing well.

I also got 4 for Florida and 2 for Auburn.
My ranking is 997. What is yours.?
Curious how for down priority rank you could go and still get Fl. tickets?

I'd heard that the NC game was not part of the normal away game ordering process. I'm not a season ticket holder so I don't know, but that's what I heard.

I guess I had better back up. I got 4 tickets, but through 2 separate accounts. So technically I got 2 + 2.
