LSU baseball adds 2 (maybe 3)

Advocate this morning had it official that Raph Rhymes from LSU-eunice will sign. Dude hit 483 with 31 doubles, 12 homers, 98 RBI last year, should add some pop and can play anywhere on infield.
Also, Kevin Berry from UNO will transfer in, Played 3rd and pitched. Dont understand this one, hit 281, no power numbers with 14 errors and had bad pitching stats, heard he was doing well in cape though

It's Raph. And I think this news means Coach has been informed by some draftees that they are going to sign.

oh well advocate missed one then, but i had heard he wanted to go to tulane originally but had academic issues, but his numbers werent overly impressive.

I guess maybe he would take cechinnis (sp?) spot because i dont see anyone else leaving thats been drafted. Jones is coming to LSU so im not sure. I think Pauley just needed to add some offense and with snikeris we needed a veteran catcher

I am gald we got Raph. I saw him play quite a few times when he was a junior and senior in high school. He was pretty impressive. The ball makes a lot of noise coming off his bat.

I think this just means that some spots on the team are secure. Because Maineri did say that things were gonna change.

It also means this kid can flat out bring it. He was offered by Ole Miss and 'Bama FWIW according to people in Eunice. Also is a better all-around player than TW and that's saying something.
