only 1 world cup ref --only one angle counts--and no replay. therefore they do a good job

I don't know about that, SEC officials still screw up things even with replay.

Negatory on that good buddy. They do a shitty job from everything I've seen. In addition to things like this goal, the inability of the officals is what encourages all the flopping, shirt pulling, etc.

As far as this instance......can't blame the linesman. He has to be in position to judge an offsides.

Sorry Brits.....shite happens.

In a sport that's typically low scoring, this is the attitude when the officials frick a team out of a goal?

I'll continue to support USA in any events they are in, but this sport's system is a fricking joke if a screw up like gets nothing more than a "shite happens" when it could easily be prevented by having more than one official covering the whole field.

yes. It's a subjectively judged sport. Just like in a judged fight when the judges miss a point in the last round and the other guy wins.

Judge had a poor angle on it and it wasn't his fault.

once again......shite happens.

The line judges need to understand the physics of the situation. If a ball hits crossbar, ground, the crossbar again, then it has to have bounced behind the goal on the ground.

Ps, may not matter now, as Germany just scored their 3rd.

Sure it matters. If it were 3-2, England would still feel as if they have a chance to tie it and go to an extra period. That call now effectively shuts the door on this game.

Armando Galarraga's botched perfect game aint got shite on this.

Well.....Germany scored again as I'm typing this, so now it really doesnt matter
