Hope we get him even if all else doesn't fail. I think we could really use a talented Center like Ethan Hutson: our O-line should be amazing, and Ethan could be the skilled player that puts the icing on the cake for years to come. I'd just hate to lose an in-state athlete of this calibre to the Rebels!

I agree in losing in state talent, but we have 3 centers on our roster. With limited schollies right now he's one of the many talented players who will come up short this year.

There's a lot of very talented players LSU would have to miss out on for Miles to be able to offer him a scholarship.

Ethan Hutson's father is the offensive line coach at Tulane. He was an assistant coach for Huston Nutt at Murray State, Boise and Arkansas and they remain good friends. I'm sure the connection between Nutt and Mark Hutson has a lot to do with him picking Ole Miss. Not to mention that as part of the Tulane staff his dad probably doesn't have a lot of warm and fuzzy feelings for LSU. I doubt LSU ever had a shot at him. It could explain a lot.
