Where is a good place to watch the USA game in Baton Rouge?

look, my brother and I spend a lot of time on this site, admining it, developing it, dealing with the crap that comes with it. we both love it. to offset our time and effort, we have sponsors that pay us for the exposure on our site. that is our business model right now...that is what makes this site free and open to all.

For someone to come on here and attempt to get free advertising is a slap in our face and is just wrong.

He just answered the questions that were posed to him from fellow posters regarding the England game...there was lots of uncertaintity as to what bars would be open, he knew Pluckers would be and simply answered their questions....I can't see how that is different from people mentioning other bars as hot spots to watch the game

we are also forgetting the fact that he works there (not during the world cup games), he doesn't own the place, so if Pluckers is ridiculously packed for the game...he doesn't make any money regardless

no to both, i know better. but he's been around longer than i have and in all honestly i believe he didn't know he was doing anything to undermine you, your site or your sponsors.

I can tell you that he sure as shite doesn't get anything out of it, and it isn't his decision on whether or not to advertise with your site because if it WAS his call, there would have been banners up long ago.

The only thing that really gets me about all this is how long he's been a member and was banned without warning or immediate explanation. Had he done the things he was accused of (knowingly) I could see the action that was taken being appropriate but there was a complete absence of malice. if gratuitous praise for your site, you and your admins would bring him back, i'm not above groveling.

I was informed that he wasn't warned...by email, pm or other wise. and i must say, the surprise of being hit with the ban hammer seemed pretty genuine to me.

Soo I guess my question will not get answered... So much for asking a valid question pertaining a sporting event... I find this comical.

Anyway lets go USA! Thats whats its about after all.
