hey everyone
i am in talks with a few jewelers to get a replica ring done. of course i would take the sole risk, order mine first and then take a bunch of pictures. they can also customize the name on it (so you can either put your last name, your fav players or W.D.N. for who dat nation is what ill do for mine)
i have a very good reputation across this board and saintsreport.com. i am responsible for the dome patrol reprint run which was very successful and ive also helped people obtain the entire 09-10 saints season on dvd.
my username on saintsreport is scottphogan504
if anyone is even slightly interested i ask that you email me @ shogan@uno.edu with SUPERBOWL RING in the subject. please give me your name, phone number, email address, and user handle along with which message board you belong to. ill move you into a folder i have set up on my outlook account and you will automatically be notified of changes or progress. im very close and hope to start production of mine by 21st or 22nd. ill be asking the jeweler to use the highest quality materials while keeping cost low. believe it or not, there are different grades of cubic zirconia. ill be asking them to use the best. and no brass fake gold plating. ill be asking that 14K gold plating is used. this will no doubt drive the price up a bit but if you are going to spend money on a replica ring you might as well spend the money to get one that will actually last.

Why would a fan who didn't play for the 2009 saints want a ring that looks like what the players earned?
Just asking? I don't get the desire?

But why would you want to say you have one when all players are identifiable for life?
Of the 112 players and coaches........10 are probably doctors, 10 are probably equip managers, and 10 probably worked in an office.........
14k gold and 40 diamonds are easy to spot.......
I just don'g get why a fan would want something that symbolizes a players hard work?

I didn't call yall idiots.......I just said I don't get it?
Explain to me why you would want a championship replica ring to wear in public?
Thats all.

because i think to have a smaller version of the ring with 12th man as field position and whodatnation on the ring would be awesome. i really don't get why this is so hard for you to understand.
i mean, to have this replica sitting in a nice box in my curio cabinet along with my signed helmet by the entire team and staff and my s.i. sb football signed by drew would make for an awesome addition to any saint collectors display case.

no you wouldn't. you would hop on here, tell people about how you say someone wearing it and then say how you wanted to punch them.

Maybe I could understand to put in a display case.......MAYBE
Different strokes for different folks bro..........

I wouldn't mind having one just to put in the man cave on display, I wouldn't wear it though. Yeah, and I would never put my own name on it, It would definitely be WHO DAT NATION or something like that.

exactly.. i dont understand how getting a replica made, putting it in a display case and in the last name spot putting W.D.N. for who dat nation and 12th man is not incredibly awesome. imagine the double takes people would take when they walked past the curio cabinet in your home. (since the team has always called the fans their 12th man)

I agree with you on the ring, but...
Wouldn't you say the same thing about a replica jersey?
