You don't think LSU football has taken a hit in prestige the last couple of years? Its a no brainer Choctaw. Out of sight, out of mind. Go to any national board and ask this same question.

No i don't. You ask anyone if LSU is still an elite, top tier program and anyone with a clue will say yes. We were arguably the team of the decade.

Now I know you have gone off the deep end. LSU WAS in the running for the team of the decade until 2008 and 2009. Now, an afterthought. No one would seriously give LSU consideration for the team of the decade at this point.

The 1980s, with 2 SEC titles, 3 major bowl appearances, several top 25 finishes and a much better record overall, were "easily" worse than the 1990s?
