Okie Lite might be irrelevant, but T. Boone Pickens is most definitely not irrelevant to the people who make decisions in Texas or Oklahoma.

You know the TV contract the Big-12 is getting looks like a good bit bigger than is warranted by the product offered up by the Big-12. In excess of $30 million dollars a year bigger. I wonder who can throw around that kind of money to get what he wants?
...If you think the OSU camp was just sitting on their hands I think you should think again. I'd be very surprised if T. Boone wasn't involved in saving the Big-12.
