Im going to have to ignore this board for the next 4 hours and 18 minutes. Praise Jesus for the DVR.

Think Italy is gonna score two, Lippi is playing 3 up top with Gilardino Iaquinta and Di Natale.

Draw or Italy wins 2-1

Paraguay was the most impressive team in South America before the last few games where they got some injuries and dealt with card bs. Even withot Cabanas I think they can beat the always slow starting Italy. 2-0 Paraguay.

I concur. So far the most excitement I have seen has been by Germany.

I hope this isnt like the SKorean game in Korea, The Talleys were lazy, disinterested, arrogant and blootered the ball forward at every opportunity and bitched constantly at the offsides calls...I wanna see Italia circa 1980ish creative desperate beautiful...

I agree.

Though I think USA-England comes in second. Great match.

Yep, I agree I'm really pumped for this game. I'm off for the next 2 days and Wednesday morning for a licensing exam I have to take for work. Planned this out very well, rolling into work a little after the Chile game ends Wednesday morning. Exam is tomorrow afternoon after all the games are done. Get to enjoy some World Cup soccer on a weekday at least.

All the best games have yet to come.

USA-England was exciting for me
becuase I'm an American. If I were an un-biased viewer I would have probably fallen asleep.

Brazi-Portugal is going to be epic.

frick where is Santa Cruz?? The thing about Paraguay is that they do play safe when they feel the need to. Leaving Santa Cruz out makes me think they might be fine with a tie.
