The SEC does not need Texas but, Texas needs the SEC!

But, because they have spewed their mouths out about how much better they are than the SEC they can not find it within themselves to ask the SEC to let them in!

It is not about Texas coming to the SEC or going to the PAC-10, it is about Texas having control of their destiny wherever they go. They want everyone in that conference to bow down to them so that it will make their entry into that conference fit their agenda not the conferences.

For them to go out West special things will have to be put into place for them to be able to compete on a level playing field in all their sports men's and women, with those that do not have to travel as far.

The biggest mistake Texas will be making going out West will isolation from their fanbase and to me this is the biggest issue of it all. They will be leaving their comfort zone of Texas as a whole in order to be a vital part of the PAC-10.

I do not believe or there is no way that the fanbase as a whole is in full agreement with them going to the West coast to play their games when they can stay in their own timezone and play a more rewarding schedule than going out West. JMHO!

...and UT is scared to death of A&M going to the SEC. If it happens, the Aggies will rape all of Texas for recruits. My bet is that they'll be NC contenders within 5 years in the SEC. But they'll be the perennial doormat in the Pac-27.
