They have maintained that, but I think UT is working diligently to hold the Big 12 together. UT won't be the big dog in the PAC 84 when USC gets back on track, so they'd prefer the Big 12. My $.02. They can add TCU, BYP, Utah, or a couple of other schools and be ok.

yes they did, although it makes zero sense why that is the case. Just proof that this entire "save the big 12" dance UT is putting on is nothing more than window dressing.

Probably the biggest unexpected news is that they want to play athletics in the Big10 starting in 2011 and not 2012 like the rest of the Big12 thought it would be
