Do you really not understand what is going on?
It's a 2 strike count, and the pitch looks like a fastball over the plate coming out of his hand. It's a great pitch.

Here's the problem: Has he thrown a fastball on a 2-2 count yet? He's sure as frick REPEATEDLY thrown that "looks like a fastball" one. 90% of his strike outs have come from it.
We're not often swinging way ahead of it. We're timing to at least tip but no where close on the swing.

Have you ever played baseball? This guy is pitching incredibly well. He's getting ahead in the count almost every batter and he has a wicked curve ball/slider. Tough to hit a guy who is throwing 3 pitches really well....

But Elleahoe can hit a slider on MLB The Show, so it shouldn't be hard for these guys to hit it.
