Why is it that the main charachters never laugh in sitcoms when people tell jokes?
I was watching a Sienfeld rerun today and noticed Jerry trying to hide
his smirk when he was making a joke. It kind of defeats the purpouse don't you think?

Elaine laughs sometimes. It depends on the character personality.
