He had a sore muscle in his rib cage and the medical staff recommended a couple of weeks rest--according to reports he was ok last week and could have gone last series but staff decided to rest further for the regionals--my guess is you get Danny--

The rest of the starters have been lights out the last couple of weeks however-- Bergman has gone back to back complete games (1 run and a shutout)--you saw him 2 years ago--and Pettis, our closer 2 years ago, has also gone back to back complete games (1 run and 2 runs)--Brock, who filled in for Bibona, just went 8 innings and gave up 1 run, 4 hits and no walks. Our pen has been inconsistent so I guess the starters have started to take the matter into their own hands

OK guys...this will mean you WILL see LSU taking belt high 1st strike fastballs. Just get used to it now and you'll be happier.
