I hated Civ 4. But Civ 3 is a top 5 PC game of all time for me.

Actually civ 4 with all expansions is the best by far. That game is amazing, I'm actually gonna start a game right now

I haven't played any Civ IV yet, but I played Civ II so much. Probably put more time into that game than any other game not named World of Warcraft.

This^. Beyond the Sword is probably the best of the expansions though if you can only get one.
