RTTS pitcher

I created a pitcher in RTTS mode on MLB the show 10. My fastball is rated at 94-98 mph but I can only get up to 91 mph in the game. Can anyone give me some tips on how to raise my speed on the fastball?

Go more into the red when you pitch. Or use more points to get your velocity up.

happens to me. im 97 to 101 and never gotten over 96. my control is 99 so i guess thats just the way it is

Max out your meter when you start your pitch, and throw the high heat
when you drive the fastball down in the zone you lose velocity
let it go chest high and see what you get maxed out

arm strength at the bottom needs to be increased too...
