What is really going on with our girls basketball team!

We go from the final four to where we are now pretty quick. Any thoughts?

If the program were to bring in money like Tennessee or UConn, you pay the coach a million. And those programs do. But that's a different point, back to the OP's question.
Chatman was one of the best recruiters in the game but even she didn't have more than 2-3 top players. Van has decent players but not really top ones. He isn't really doing any worse than Sue Gunter did but the fans are expecting better. Sadly, Chatman massively screwed up.

fowles and augusta helped a little on our final four teams don't have anyone nearing mention of national player of the year. And mulkey isn't coming to lsu she beat duke and had 3 freshmen on the court at the end of the game including one of the most dominating girls most have ever watched. Why would she leave when this isn't guys basketball she should have her 3 more yrs to go along with all the other talent that will want to play with grinner

No shot Mulkey comes to LSU. The problem rests in a mixture between coaching and lack of talent. Even though Hightower was great, she's no Augustus or Fowles.
