End of the road for one of the LSU greats?

quote:

Reed ranks fifth in team history in receptions with 311, while his 3,575 receiving yards ranks 10th on the Bills all-time list.

And Lee Evans isn't anything special. He would be a #1 for maybe 2 other teams if that.

Would TO even want to stay there even if they offered? He has a few good years left and last season was his most unproductive since 99. But I dont understand them releasing Reed. He wasnt great but he was a decent #3. Maybe they want Parrish at #3.

I would not be surprised if Reed ended up joining Hester at San Diego. They are having contract issues with some of their WR's and need a good 3rd guy for Vincent Jackson. Sadly, that might mean Buster Davis losing a spot. If not, the browns and Bengals have been looking for WR's. Hopefully he doesn't sign with browns though.

Maybe they want to try and get Ingram or someone as their #1 pick in the 2011 draft

I would. They're having "contract issues" with what? 2 of their 8 receivers maybe? I doubt he goes left coast.

Patriots just re-signed Patton (probably to help adjust Moss' attitude), but they need a viable slot guy in case Welker isn't 100% by the time the season starts.

Carolina will likely be shopping around for WRs as well.

I'd rather see Josh Reed get released and go elsewhere than continue to play for the Oakland Raiders Northeast

Josh will get picked up. He still has some good years in him. He was not utilized properly with the Bills.

This.......

I did get to talk with Josh at the Recruiting Bash, good guy. Still has a few more years left. Has been talking with a team East of here. Some were saying that they would like to see him playing for the Saints. Best of luck to him, always a Saints and Tiger fan .......
