Will we ever see another team under Miles come into a game as focused and ready to kick arse as they were that night?

I thought LSU was as focused for the Bama game in '08 that we lost as we were for Va Tech...The only problem was INTs by J Lee. The idea that we took an undefeated and highly ranked team to OT with 4 INTs..one returned for a TD...was truly impressive in my mind. We played a great game. I thought LSU beat Bama in the trenches...which is saying ALOT. LSU held the vaunted Bama rushing attack to 3.7 ypc ...While LSU ran for over 200 yards with a 4.4 ypc avg. If we didnt have to start a very shaky J Lee, LSU routs Bama imo.

I agree. We could do no wrong that night it seemed. We made Virginia Tech look like a high school team.

THAT was a complete game! Pure focus!

This was one of the best days of my life! That day was my birthday. Went to a great music festival all day then went home just in time to watch the game!

Tailgating for that game was brutal, felt like it was 107 degrees. Atmosphere was electric. ESPN game day was there.

Then in the second quarter I think "I've been watching LSU games my whole life and have never seen us this good". Absolute best team that year but slightly tainted by Arky treating our meaningless final game as their superbowl.

-Btw, that was definitely the best we've played with gameday in BR

That was simply the most dominating game I've ever seen LSU play. Man was it fun to be in Tiger Stadium that night.
