Now that Williams has proven how valuable he is for the Saints and proven Payton correct, does Payton get his money back. The FO should say thanks, but your giving part of your salary to allow the signing of Williams was appreciated but no longer necessary. This should happen as a minimum for future years, and possibly even return lat years'.

During all the Super Bowl week press it was revealed that he got paid back around week 9.

those comments by fans on the link page are hilarious in hinesight. All based the Saints D and said the colts would wipe the floor with the Saints. Good stuff!

I didn't realize they had reimbursed him; that's good to hear. I expect to see an extension/raise coming for SP in the near future. He certainly deserves it.
