I just heard on Buddy's show that Clement is moving to TE. Does this mean that DeAngelo Peterson will be moved back to WR? I hope so.

Are you really gonna believe Buddy Songy? Cmon man, that guy is off his rocker. Hell Kidd Kraddick is better than him.

we need more wr's to step it up. last year peterson showed promise.

Peterson is a match up nightmare. He'll stay at TE....or he should.

Peterson could excel at TE if left there. Great speed, size and hands.

Lot of different places are saying he's moving to TE.

Peterson will stay at TE. Not like Clement will start.

Peterson is our best receiving TE by a lot right now. No reason to move him back to WR after he just put on 40 pounds.

i've got high hopes for peterson.. hope passing game coordinator doesn't neglect TE.. ingram and hernandez were pretty active during his tenure there so i'm hoping that means more involvement from that position

Peterson leaves us at a huge disadvantage because teams know we aren't going to run the ball much with him in the game. His run blocking is terrible. He's a little too small to be taking on OLB and DEs. TE is Clement's natural position.

Apparently you missed his punt return when he ran like 10 guys over

haha..if you say so, the kid can hit..and thats what he knows best. Now as for playing in the SEC it is tough to make that transition, I would love to see him start one day at DE, hell start anywhere, but it is very difficult to do this at a top 10 program, and if he does I am very proud of him.

Whatever happened to Mitch Joseph? everyone moved Peterson to the #1 TE and Clement #2?

just wondering..

I thought he was recruited as a TE? I guess I'm mistaken.

Most probably.

While I think Randle is going to be a superstar...hes still relatively unproven. TT is still raw as hell and has a lot to prove. Behind them...we have absolutely nobody with experience. WR is open right now...so it might be smart to move Peterson back there. LSU was excited about him when he was on campus. Huge WR for us.

I could see Peterson being a Hybrid kinda like Hernadez for Florida was. Wouldn't surprise me to see RS in a Hybrid RB/WR role too...if he can get that down mentally. Don't think the staff is high on CT yet.

I attended a recruiting camp at Ole Miss in 2007..Chase was working with the TE's and was catching everything..he looked very fluid in his routes for a big guy

You can say what you want about Clement not being tough enough, blah blah blah. He has never been given a chance to show what he can do at DE in a game, so none of us know. He can be a very good TE IMO. Very good hands and good speed and size. At 6'6 250 he has the size to dominate that position.
