Z back to cavs

Just heard on espn that big Z is going to get traded back to the cavs? Not too into the NBA trade picture and couldn't tell if this was a joke or true. Any insight on the subject is appreciated. TIA

It is technically illegal to have a deal like this in place, but it happens all the time.

Part of the agreement for the trade was that the Wizards buy out Z's contract. But by rule, he isn't allowed to re-sign with the Cavs for 30 days.

So, he'll sit out for 30 days, then re-sign with the Cavs. The Wizards do this for the cap relief.

Obviously, this will works out quite well for the cavs, lol.

The remainder of his contract will be bought out. He's free to sign with whatever team he wants after that, but he has to wait 30 days if it's the cavs. Dallas and Denver are both planning to make him offers
