With the recent raises to other coaches and the title of recruiting coordinator given to Wilson.. i think he was let go to balance out the raises and his job wasnt really needed.. any other possible hires looming?

He wasn't let go. Miles plans to fill the position, not leave it vacant. At least, that's the plan today.

I really can't see us not having the max number of allowable coaches. Even if it's promoting a GA, strength coach, or quality control guy or whatever they call those other young assts.

The reason he left is because he coached porter at memphis, was close to porter who helped get him hired here and still owns a house in memphis because his family liked it.

I'd like to see LSU hire a bona fide QB coach instead of a TE coach.
