Stand Up and Get CRUNK

First off, I dont post much. Just mainly lurk and enjoy reading up on everyone's insights on the Saints. But i do feel compelled to contribute today. I've been reading much about everyone complaining about the media bias. Lots of posts about so-and-so ripping the Saints, discounting the Saints, sucking off the Colts and Manning, and how aggravating this media bias is.

We should love this media bias and i know many of us do. But this is for those who have let ESPN and the media get to them. I smile with each word of criticism. We should love the way people are brushing off and belittling our team. Because this is how they got where they are. Not only as a team but as individuals. Our Saints are a team of cast-offs, has-beens and players who simply were just passed over..

Our QB, a cast away from San Diego. Our #1 WR, nearly Mr. Irrelevant. Moore, not drafted. Sharper, Vilma, Greer, Bell - guys who were cast off from their teams because they just didnt fit. Hargrove, Shockey - guys looking for redemption. Meachem, was regarded before this year as a bust. Jhari Evans, where did he come from again?

It is the nature of our team and has driven them to success this year. Everyone picked against us the entire year, and I dont want that to change.

Great sports movies arent of the teams that are favored and are #1. Great sports movies are of the underdog, the team thats against the world that seemingly has no chance, but uses that adversity to come together as a team and win against all odds.

And although this is not a movie, I believe our Saints will play the part and be world beaters. I cant wait to hear the excuses come Monday morning.

Who Dat Say Dey Gonna Beat Dem Saints? Everyone, apparently. Just the way our Saints like it.

So let the Baylesses, McNabbs, Dungys, Wingos, Bermans, Schlereths, etc, say what they want. It will only add to the Saints legacy and will just make Monday morning even sweeter.
