He sure thinks he has all the answers after his team shite the bed 45-14.

One of his gems: "New Orleans run defense, which isn't real good." KW: If that is the case, why didn't your squad score more than 14?

I have to tell you, I'm fricking tired of the way we're getting treated in the media. People are acting like this is the NYG vs NE game a couple of years ago.

frick it though. All we heard was how Warner would kill us. Then how Favre would kill us. Then how Favre did kill us, but we got lucky.

I maintain that we are a more physical team than they are, and can dominate this game at the LOS. If we do that, we win.

Serenity....good post. im pissed about the disrespect we are getting..its really quite shocking but i believe this team is gonna come out and play smash-mouth,knock a snot bubble out of em football and really take it the Colts..i may be in the minority, but if we come out on fire like we did against Pats/Giants?--i believe we can win this thing by a couple of touchdowns.

If I hear one more Peyton is a god thread, I'm just gonna F'ing puke. This guy and the Colts can be beat. Remember he dont like to be hit, all the Saints need to do is hit his arse and get in his head and he will make mistakes.

Here is what bothers me about the media and these kind of stories: They are lazy and dumb the content down too much. This Colts Offense is not "The Greatest Show on Turf" or not even the #1 ranked Offense in the league.

Why doesn't someone write an article about what these 4 teams (14 (Jaguars), 18 (49ers), 20 (Texans),17 (Ravens)) did to slow down the Colts offense in the regular season? Everyone wasn't able to break down the film each week to know.

Do they think they are going to lose their audience if they use terms like Cover 2 or D-Line Stunts? This is the reason I like Ron Jaworski's segments on ESPN.

There are so many Super Bowl stories with such simple content that it's frustrating. CNNSI or ESPN needs to go out and allow someone to write a football story that discusses more than "the key for the Saints will be to score more points than the Colts".

Rant over. Sorry.

Good post Uncle Lester. The love Peyton threads is getting sickening. We need to come out with the same defensive mentality we had in the Ari. game and hit him hard and often, eventually he will be tired and beat up(I.E. Favre and Warner)

Your last comment makes no sense, why does Az inabailty to score more than 14 indicate the Saints run D was or was not good? Az got behind early, cause their D ain't very good either and once behind they had to throw. Sorry but the Saints run D isn't any good. One of the reason me and my friends really wanted the Cardnials in the first round is because their run O isn't any good and frankly one of the reasons I think the colts are a better match-up for the Saints is because their running O is so-so as well.

It's not very good. The defense is built to play a one dimensional passing opponent and force turnovers. The thing that most people seem to be overlooking is that that "weak" defense has helped the Saints get 15 wins, more than half of which were absolute thrashings.

The Cardinals were only down 21-14, half way through the 2nd Quarter. Still plenty of time to establish a running game (down by one score)- if you believed you could do so. They only ran the ball 15 times total during the game. If you take out the one long run (70 Yards by Hightower), the Cardinals only had 14 carries for 31 yards.

They abandoned the run because we adjusted to it - we did a nice job against the run. They couldn't establish it consistently - no reason to blame it on the Cardinals falling behind quickly.
