Hey Jay-Bird, it looks like Parker is a smart guy that recognizes the obvious glory in winning, and he looks to be basing his eventual decision on that aspect. With that being said, it would totally seem like LSU would be the best choice of the three schools that he has narrowed it down to. As it stands, South Carolina is estimated to finish 4th in the SEC East behind Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee...not much hope for winning a championship there. In regards to Clemson, they could go even go undefeated, which is highly unlikely, and yet they could still find themselves out of the BSC National Championship Game.

Justin - if you're listening - LSU is BY FAR your best shot (out of the 3 schools you've listed) to win a National Title during your college tenure. We are estimated to be the second best team in our division, and we only lost to the team that's ahead of us by 9 points this year in the midst of injuries to our players and a blatantly bad call against us in the deciding moments of the game. And if you haven't noticed, Justin, we're a bit thin at the linebacker position - you could get early playing time and be an established starter by your junior year at the latest. If you can beat out one man ahead of you, you could wind up starting as a sophomore.

You claim to care about winning Championships, which leads me to believe that you're intelligent and that you're a winner yourself - I hope you make the smart choice and elect to join our team in Baton Rouge - we'd love to welcome you to our state and to our school.

Parker said. "When you look at any school, you want to know that they can compete, not only for a conference championship but a national championship, because that's the ultimate goal."

Well if this is really how he feels it would have to give LSU the nod over Clemson...he is a top priority for sure

I agree - Clemson isn't going to be playing for a national championship in the next decade. LSU - with our recruiting last year, this year and next year - we could be there in 2011.

This is what recruits and their families should see when visiting LSU boards.

U can now get off ur knees....- just can't believe we are now bragging about being the 2nd best team iin our DIVISION

He never said that. He said we are estimated at being top 2 with #1 being the NC. LSU has a legit shot at winning NCs which we do/have done recently.

IF Parker decides on Clemson, then he'll be heading to school with much lowers odds of ever reaching the BCS National Championship game. Clemson is in a 2nd-tier conference that isn't even regarded as highly as other 2nd-tier conferences, and please let us not forget that Clemson typically does not even win their conference.

Justin Parker's bet interest in regards to winning Championships is surely at LSU.
