if wants it; if he wants to keep his job; if he wants to take LSU back to the top of the SEC West.

Because if he doesn't and we don't reclaim our swagger - that attitude that we are the biggest and baddest football team in the land - and we continue to lose to Bama, he'll leave this job in disgrace as the guy that got kicked around by Saban.

One Milesism that doesn't exist: dominate. If he doesn't learn to preach it, we can't do it. Because the guy in the following videos is certainly breeding that culture where he works now:

Dominate is not just a word, it's a lifestyle

Dominate

Dominate; make his arse quit

Miles needs to change the attitude of this program with a sense of urgency starting now, if he wants it, if he wants it so bad he can taste it.

I dont think even Saban can dominate or beat "The Saban" that has been created by the Rant.

Miles will never dominate Saban. Some of the Miles supporters on here that believe Miles can beat Saban are the same delusional tards that believe Miles won the 2007 title with his Miles's players.

Too bad all the links were from Ala. The reason I use to like this board and why I joined this board was because of people like Rocket. The posters back then were teaching me all about LSU, the players, the Coches. Nearly 98% of those posters are gone.

Today, all I get from the rant is a lot about nothing. I am beginning to like the SEC section better and staying away from the LSU rant. I have learned nothing here in a long time.

Welcome back Rocket. Saw you post the other day.

You people need to listen to the Rocket. He is LSU and you better damn well believe it. If he say Miles needs to do this, then Miles, you better listen.

A great post as usual, but I don't like the Bama links, but they did surve a purpose.

We win that game, plain and simple, and go on to the SECCG and lose to UF, and Tim Tebow wins another NC.

It's like a bad episode of Back to the Future!

meh.. This post would have been ok had it been the first or even the thousandth about this topic. This is not a new point of view or something that has been forgotten.

Almost everything about Miles, his coaching, his luck, hiring has been hashed, rehashed and remixed with new artists.

Miles will not change - he is who he is, and overall it has brought him success. People don't change and can't change their entire approach to everything. The best we can hope for is some attention to detail on the team IMO

Miles does not know how to dominate and never will. He will be gone after this year.

I agree Rocket, thats what is missing with Miles.
Somewhere along the ways the Miles that came to LSU the "let er rip" Have a nice day" Les Miles has disappeared. If he wants to keep his job he needs find that intense guy again.

You are either a good coach or not. At 50+ years of age, Les is who he is. The Want to change may be there, but the tools needed to do so are not.

P.S. - While Saban is a great coach, so are a handful of others that would find Baton Rouge a good opportunity. It will take guts by Alleva and a great sales job by he and Lombardi to bring in a coach of a high caliber that will have other offers to weigh. If we go after someone whose only offer on the table is ours, then we would have learned nothing from the past.

Miles doesn't have the right kind of personality for that, he's a players coach. No one is afraid of him.

Agree totally.

He's going to have to hire someone to do it. Is Frank that guy? Gonzales? Once Miles started making $4 million, what little intensity that he had flew right out the window.

The LSU football program under Les Miles will have to get a lot worse than what is now before anything will change, as long as Bobby Jindal is the Gov.

I don't think Jindal believes anything is wrong with losing to Bama & Fla every year, as long as you win most of the other games...Les will probably be at LSU for a lot longer than what some of us want. This is just my opinion though.

Mediocrity is the worse case scenario for any program. Not bad enough to be fired but not good enough to win it all. I'm afraid that is where we may be finding ourselves after the last two seasons. Les can recruit and that is enough to win 8-9 games each year. And he won't be fired if he keeps up those win totals.
