Anybody out there streaming from Netflix? I've got DSL Ultra (up to 1.5MB/sec) through Bellsouth and wondering if anyone is using this setup. I talked with netflix and they say you need 1.5 MB, and my DSL is "up to 1.5"

Go to speedtest.net That should tell you what kind of speed you're actually getting.

According to that test, I'm getting 1.6 which looks promising. Just curious how it would be consistently, especially at peak usage times.

With DSL your connection isn't shared, so peak usage times shouldn't affect the 1.6 number you got.

I don't think you will have a problem either way. If your connection speed can't keep up with the stream Netflix pauses your movie until there's an acceptable buffer built up.

Use netflix on my laptop and cricket wireless (0.6 Mb max rate seen) With no problems. Just give it a minute to build a "buffer" on your computer, and the movies stream just fine.

Thanks guys.
Looks like I'll give Netflix a try.
