I spend half my time on here bitching about the lag on xbox. I played my friends ps3 for probably the fifth time and it is still garbage. Xbox play is flawless compared to ps3. If I had a ps3 I would have set it on fire by now. Online play is a joke. I'll probably just buy him an xbox to prove my point.

I have to agree. I'm willing to risk Red ring( which I've got 3 times) and pay for live, than play on PSN.

I've played on xboxlive since halo 2 was my game of choice.
That being said, I don't see a difference in performance. At all.
I still have both accounts active.

Sadly I do not suck. Currently 10k+ kill with 1.37 k/d and 4 days. When I put a clip into someone and they do not die, I simply quit. It is not my fault but the systems, matchmaking is notoriously poor on this game. It happens occasionally. But on the ps3 it was every damn game. Ps3 has some great games but for any of the COd's it sucks. I used to get irate but now I just quit if it is lagging. Even on xbox it can be difficult to find a match that is good. BTW I have 20mbps+. It is the host that affects everyones rate of lag. Sadly Activision went cheap and we reap the benefits of their savings.

What does the host's connection speed and your accusation of Activision of "going cheap" have to do with PSN?
I've had games that lag but the system either picks a new host after 10-15 seconds or ends the game.
Am I missing your point?

No. my k/d has gone from 1.35 to 1.37 in the last few days so I usually kill either 4 to 1 or breakeven depending on the host.
Rather then having dedicated servers, the cheap bastard that runs activision decided that one persons console would provide the bandwidth for all players. far too often the games suck because of this.

thats weird I initially bought it on 360 then played on my neighbors PS3 it was much better so I traded 360 version in for PS3...great decision IMO
